Backgroud: Mrc1 (Mediator of replication checkpoint 1) is a S-phase checkpoint
protein of Schizosaccharomyces pombe found at replication forks required for
phosphorylation and activation of Cds1 during DNA replication stress where it forms
a replication-pausing complex and is phosphorylated by Rad3 and Tel1 kinases. The
phosphorylated form of Mrc1 is detected by a change in the electrophoretic mobility.
Human homolog of Mrc1 is claspin.

1) Western blotting (x3000 dilution)
2) Other applications were not tested.
Specification
Immunogen: Purified recombinant protein containing amino acids 1~317 of Mrc1

Background: Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor (HB-EGF) is synthesized as a membrane-anchored precursor that is proteolytically cleaved to release the soluble mature growth factor HB-EGF (1 2). The former functions as juxtacrine and the latter as paracrine growth factor. HB-EGF activates EGFR and ErbB4 and promotes the development of many tissues. In human ProHB-EGF is the cellular receptor for diphtheria toxin (3). Non-toxic mutant of diphtheria toxin CRM197 inhibit HB-EGF function which is elevated in most ovarian cancer is being tested as an anticancer drug (4).

Applications
1)Western blotting (0.2~1 ug /ml) 2) Immunoprecipitation.
3)Indirect immuno-fluorescence staining

In the eukaryotic cells DNA is packaged repetitively into nucleosomes by means of interactions among two molecules of four classes of histone H2A H2B H3 and H4. Each of the histone proteins has an evolutionarily conserved amino-terminal ‘tail’ that protrudes from the nucleosome. This tail is the target of numerous diverse signaling pathways resulting in the addition of many post-translational modifications. These modifications include phosphorylation acetylation methylation ADP-ribosylation and mono-ubiquitination. Many important new modifications within the structured core and the carboxy-terminal tail regions of histones are also being identified. It is becoming increasingly clear that these modifications represent crucial regulatory events that govern the accessibility and function of the genome
Applications (see Ref 1)
1) Western blotting (1000 fold dilution). 2) Immunoprecipitation (CHIP assay).

Prion protein PrP is a membrane glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI) anchored glycoprotein highly expressed in neuron and glia cells as well as immune and reproductive cells. Mutations in the octapeptide repeat regions as well as elsewhere in this gene have been associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as Creutzfeldt Jakob disease fatal familial insomnia Gerstmann Straussler disease Huntington disease like 1 and kuru. The infectious isoform of PrPC known as PrPSc is able to convert normal PrPC proteins into the infectious isoform which is insoluble amyloid aggregate by changing their conformation (1).
Mature PrP protein in human consists of 209 amino acids. Several topological forms exist; one cell surface form anchored via glycolipid and two transmembrane forms therefore multiple bands are observed in SDS-PAGE (Figure).
Applications
1) Western blotting (~0.5 μg/ml) 2) ELISA (most suitable)
Other applications have not been tested.
